The 23 year old Jarred Tinordi Singed a 1 year/ 2 way contract with the Montreal Canadiens Franchise. The 23 year old played 13 games this year; he recorded 2 assists and 19 penalty minutes. He registered 20 hits and 20 blocked shots. The Burnsville, Minnesota native also took part in 44 games with the AHL’s Hamilton Bulldogs, recording seven points (1 goal, 6 assists), and 36 penalty minutes. Selected in the first round by the Canadiens (22nd overall) in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, the 6’6’’, 225 lbs defenseman has played 43 career regular season games in the NHL, all with the Canadiens, tallying six points (6 assists) and 61 penalty minutes. Tinordi also played in five career NHL playoff games, collecting one assist and 15 penalty minutes.

I think this is a great signing because the Canadiens will be in need of defensemen soon. the 6’6 defenseman can bring good hitting and shot blocking that is key for a good defensemen.
