Justin Abdelkader’s breakout year

This past year, Justin Abdelkader solidified his spot as a top-6 forward for the Detroit Red Wings. He scored 44 points this year 23-21-44. He hit career highs in all categories and more than doubled his goal total. He was drafted #42 in 2005, he is 28 and in the prime of his career. When Justin was a young boy his dream was to play for the Red Wings and hopefully he can retire as one.

With the addition of Brad Richards Abdelkader will potentially have a very talented playmaking centermen to play next to this upcoming season.

Expect to see Abby celebrate tons of goals like this next year.
