Scrivens Breaks NHL Record

Goaltender Ben Scrivens breaks an NHL record by making 59 saves in a 3-0 victory against the San Jose Sharks. The previous record was held by Phoenix’s current goaltender Mike Smith who made 53 saves. The Oilers finally have some hot goaltending to ride on which may be the key to the end of their rebuild. Scrivens was acquired from L.A. for a 3rd round draft pick only a few weeks ago to replace Devan Dubnyk.
